Pro Bono Work & Community Service

Michael’s pro bono litigation work has focused upon political and religious asylum, the U.N Convention Against Torture, pattern citizenship denials and other compelling immigration matters.

Michael also has dedicated some time to representing or providing counsel to organizations, entities and individuals committed to the Arts, including Resonance Records, Los Angeles (2009 Grammy Award Winner); and Smalls Live Records, New York.

Scott, a former banking official, has counseled indigent individuals and families in compelling debtor-creditor matters and other difficult issues affecting hardworking people displaced by recent economic events.

As a practical and policy matter, and out of fairness to our many clients, we do not accept criminal or regulatory matters on a pro bono basis.
