The firm welcomes as our guest Attorney A. Bates Butler III. A former United States Attorney for District of Arizona, Bates most recently served as a Director at Fennemore Craig, where he supervised the white collar criminal defense practice group. Bates will be maintaining his own practice at our offices. We welcome him.
The firm welcomes Summer Associate Patrick Sandor. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College, where he played varsity football, Patrick received a full academic scholarship to University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. He recently finished his 1st year.

William has accepted a clerkship in the chambers of Justice Andrew Hurwitz, of the Arizona Supreme Court for 2009-2010. Thereafter, William will begin as an associate at Latham Watkins New York office.
Farewell to Law Clerk and Summer Associate Matthew Warren who has accepted a position at Latham Watkins Chicago office. After attending Southern Illinois University Matthew and graduating Valedictorian, while serving as captain of their NCAA Division I wrestling team, Matthew accepted a full academic scholarship at University of Arizona College of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude May 2008.
The law firm bids farewell to Law Clerk Lindsey Taylor. After receiving her BA from University of Arizona in creative writing magnum cum laude, Lindsey attended the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law where she graduated magnum cum laude while serving as Articles Editor on the Arizona Law Review. Lindsey accepted a position as an associate with the Phoenix office of Steptoe and Johnson LLP in the litigation department. Lindsey's analytical and excellent writing skills will be missed.
